Job Description

VANRATH are recruiting for a Litigation Manager to join a busy Public Sector organisation based in Newry with the option for hybrid working.

Salary
This is a band 7 role paying £40,057 per annum plus excellent benefits exclusive to VANRATH.

The Ideal Person
Relevant 1 Degree or recognised professional qualification or equivalent/Higher qualification AND 2 years' experience in a role involving project or case management at Band 5 (or equivalent) or above
OR
Relevant HNC/HND or equivalent/higher qualification AND 3 years experiences in a role involving project or case management at Band 5 (or equivalent) or above.
OR
5 years' experience in a role involving project or case management, including at least one at Band 5 (or equivalent) or above.

Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for the provision and management of the Trust Litigation Services, including clinical and social care negligence claims, personal injury claims, Coroner inquests, applications for Judicial Reviews, management of Third Party Accidents claims and medico-legal services. The post holder will lead a team of litigation staff and ensure that best practice is adopted with regard to the management of the above named services.
