Legal Secretary - Belfast City Centre

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a leading firm in Belfast City Centre with the recruitment of a Litigation Secretary.

This is a temporary contract to cover a period of sickness expected to last for approximately 4 weeks.

What's in it for you?

• £25,000 - £30,000 salary

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently complete digital dictation and other typing assignments.
• Maintain and update the firm's case management system with relevant documents and information.
• Prepare briefs for counsel and compile court books for hearings, trials, and motions.
• Handle general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning.
• Schedule medical and specialist appointments as required.
• Client Interaction: Manage incoming calls, relay messages, and communicate with clients on behalf of Partners and Solicitors.
• Open, date-stamp, and scan incoming mail, and save correspondence to appropriate client files.

The Ideal Person

• At least 1 years' experience in a Legal Secretary position.
• Litigation Experience.
• Effective time management - prioritise work for solicitor.
• Diary management.
• Good communication skills and telephone manner.
