About your next employer

The Legal Officer will report to a Senor Legal Officer and be a member of a team that provides legal services to complainants and potential complainants who believe that they have suffered unlawful discrimination.

About you

• A law degree e.g. LLB or LLM
• A recognised legal qualification or experience in giving advice on employment matters
• Minimum 1 years post educational, employment experience in a legal environment
• Practical experience in the preparation of cases for presentation before a Court
• A strong understanding of relevant anti-discrimination legislation

What you'll do

• Provide legal advice and support to the organisation on various legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation.
• Liaise with external legal counsel as necessary.
• Maintain and update legal documentation and records.
• Assist in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures.
