Lecturer Electrical Installations

Job Description

We are partnering with a respected public sector client to recruit a Lecturer in Electrical Installation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to the training and development of the next generation of electrical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and assess electrical installation programs from Level 1 to Level 5.
  • Act as a class tutor, with pastoral and administrative duties.
  • Develop and utilize teaching resources and promote the use of library facilities.
  • Maintain and evaluate program quality in line with awarding body standards.
  • Participate in student recruitment, marketing, and induction activities.
  • Support the development of new courses in response to workforce needs.

Essential Criteria:

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade A-C) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Level 5 qualification in Electrical Installation or related field.
  • Full NVQ Level 3 or above apprenticeship in Electrical Installation.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in domestic, commercial, or industrial electrical installations.
  • Administrative, organizational, and communication skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Recognized teaching qualification.
  • Approved Internal Verifier qualification or willingness to obtain it.
