VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for an experienced Labourer who can join their Portadown team within social housing sector. 3 months initially with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

To undertake all Labouring work associated with maintenance and refurbishment of buildings including and not limited to:

• Assisting other co-workers as required
• Domestic waste removal from buildings/roof-spaces/external areas etc
• Carrying out minor painting duties as required
• Carrying out cleaning/removal of rubbish from domestic properties and communal areas
• Cleaning stairwells
• Carrying out power washing
• Assisting scaffolder to erecting platforms/scaffold
• Erecting clothesline pole
• Assisting in the lifting of heavy/bulky rubbish and assist in construction or demolition of structures and buildings
• Collection and delivery of materials to site
• Assisting with ground works and mixing aggregates as required
• Clear gullies, gutters, downpipes as necessary

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must have sound knowledge of construction industry
• Must be able to work independently
• Good working knowledge of Health and Safety in the Workplace
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping a must
• Experience in a similar role is desirable
• Access NI Required

Remuneration
c£24,404 per annum, plus discount benefits. A form of transport will be provided to enable the post holder to carry out their duties.
