Key Account Manager (Food)(Dungannon)

Job Description

VANRATH are pleased to be working with an industry leading agri-food company that are seeking to recruit a Key Account Manager to play an integral part of our continued growth strategy.

Salary

£35,000 - £55,000 (junior and senior candidates considered)

The Role

  • Develop and secure new accounts primarily within food service and non-retail sectors
  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services in line with business development strategy
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
  • Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
  • Report on Customer KPI's
  • Assist in the delivering of PR and marketing campaigns
  • Conduct customer review meetings
  • Management of customer questionnaires/store visits and audits
  • Management of Service Level Agreements
  • Arranging and attending client/potential client meetings where applicable
  • Compose relevant proposals for potential customers
  • Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries, customer enquiries, complaints
  • Liaise with NPD and Technical Departments on product development and launches
  • Participation in continuous improvement project work
  • Any other duties and reasonable tasks within your capability as set out by Management.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline OR a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Experience in the food industry is advantageous
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Demonstrable experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG industry
  • Organised and able to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Good oral and written communication skills (Sufficient level of written and spoken English to maintain levels of safety)
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and coherently with other team members
  • Flexibility with working times to ensure consistency of service level agreements
