Your role involves:

  • Collaborating with business users to define requirements for new application functionality.
  • Creating, testing, supporting, and maintaining code for client applications.
  • Supporting the Project Manager across all facets of project delivery.
  • Contributing to team efforts for timely and budget-friendly project completion.
  • Analysing data and generating comprehensive reports for clients.
  • Mentoring and training junior developers.

Qualifications

Experience and prerequisites:

  • Over 5 years of experience in a specific development environment.
  • A minimum 2:1 Bachelor's Degree in relevant disciplines.
  • Rapid learning of new programming languages and financial concepts, coupled with logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Methodologies and a solid grasp of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
  • Detail-oriented, results-driven, and possessing a can-do attitude.
  • Capable of independent work and effective team collaboration.
  • Strong client-facing skills.
  • Experience in similar industries is advantageous but not mandatory.

Desired* experience and skills:

  • Exposure to other programming languages.
  • Cloud development experience.
  • Familiarity with other data solutions, particularly in relevant industries.
  • People management experience.
  • Technical leadership of a project or sub-team.
