Junior SQL Developer

Client:

Working alongside some of NI's best Database Developers you will be focusing on BI solutions for a private sector businesses. A very safe and progressive role for 2022.

My client will look at individuals that have a relevant 3rd level qualification or that can demonstrate that they have a considerable background working within SQL.

What you'll do:

* Manage report development requests via the IT Service Desk and JIRA, ensuring requests are dealt with according to SLA & ensuring customer expectation is met or exceeded
* Deliver and support reports being developed on Qlik Sense and Salesforce
* Develop and maintain the ETL and Data Warehouse data processes in SQL Server
* Identify & implement any improvement to data systems using project management skills
* Set up reporting & notification systems that can regularly measure & monitor KPIs across the business to meet specific business targets
* Working with the business to support business processes through reporting systems

Technology:

* Bi tools; QlikSense or Qlik View would be beneficial experience working in SQL Server technologies: SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
* Experience building reports/dashboards; in Salesforce would be beneficial
* A foundation degree or higher within a related IT subject
* Expert communicator with solid interpersonal skills
* Experience of defining, implementing & maintaining reports
* Willingness to go above and beyond your responsibilities to ensure tasks are completed
* Passionate about data
* Strong work ethic and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure
* Good customer service skills
