Job Description

With a laid-back hybrid approach and two locations (one in the northwest and one in Craigavon), they hope to recruit engineers from junior to principal level. The Role:

The Software Engineer will be in charge of custom solution design, development, and maintenance, along with working to ensure that the technical design of delivered solutions matches the defined software architecture and that technical specifications such as usability, efficiency, reliability, availability, security, and scalability are met.

The Projects:

The client specialises in a variety of life science software products, such as patient-facing software utilised by medical professionals around the world, supply chain management/tracking, and clinical trial tools. Many of the projects that will be prioritised in the medium term are brand-new innovative cloud-based green field solutions. While full-stack is encouraged, the majority of their existing engineers concentrate on Backend or Frontend. The tech stack includes Java, Spring frameworks, Node.js, Typescript, Angular, and AWS/Azure.

Essential Criteria:

Third level qualification in Computer Science or related subject

SQL experience

Java Experience

Understanding of software testing.

Understanding and/or experience with the entire Software development lifecycle.

Desirables Criteria:

AWS Experience

Spring and/or Spring Boot Experience

Working Experience in an Agile Environment

Angular Experience

Knowledge of PL/SQL
