We are thrilled to be continuing to support the fantastic growth this Software house has shown over the last 12 months! They are hoping to attract engineers right from Junior to Principal level with a relaxed hybrid approach and two sites (one in the northwest, one near Belfast) the offer plenty of flexibility! This year they have won several awards most of which for their culture and family friendly environment.

The Role:

The Software Engineer will be in charge of the design, development, and maintenance of custom solutions, as well as ensuring that the technical design of delivered solutions matches the defined software architecture and that functional requirements such as usability, efficiency, reliability, availability, security, and scalability are met.

The Projects:

The client specialises in various life science software products, these include clinical trail products, supply chain management/tracking, Patient facing software used by medical professionals across the world. A lot of the projects that will be focussed on in the medium term are green field exciting solutions that leverage cloud. The tech stack ranges from Java, Spring frameworks, Nodejs, Typescript, Angular and AWS/Azure - while full-stack is welcomed most of their current engineers focus on Backend or Frontend.

Essential Criteria:

Third level qualification in Computer Science or related subject

SQL experience

Java Experience

Understanding of software testing.

Understanding and/or experience with the entire Software development lifecycle.

Desirables Criteria:

AWS Experience

Spring and/or Spring Boot Experience

Working Experience in an Agile Environment

Angular Experience

Knowledge of PL/SQL
