Responsibilities:

The Facilities Team are responsible for the pre-planned maintenance (PPM), day-to-day reactive maintenance, and project implementation throughout the company.

The key purpose of these roles is to provide support to the Facilities Manager and Head of Facilities with the daily Facilities management operations at Belfast and to support with the management of the Facilities Team to which you are assigned. The role is an ideal opportunity for an individual wishing to take the next step in their career in Facilities Management.

  • Play a key role in Facilities operational team (FOX) covering pre-planned and reactive maintenance regarding systems, fabric and utilities.
  • Working role will require a proactive approach with desk time kept to a minimum, hot desking will be in place.
  • Act as a Team Leader on projects within your area of responsibility, as and when required
  • Ensure adherence to processes and systems (including WorkPal) which assist in the planning and delivery of all tasks carried out by the FM team and Contractors.
  • To be aware of all Statutory requirements, ensuring full compliance in the following example areas: - - Building Critical Support Systems - Gas and electricity - Entertainments licence - All relevant systems and equipment requiring statutory inspection.
  • To ensure relevant training has been provided to the team to support allocated tasks
  • To assist with procurement and stock control of system consumables and building materials


The Ideal Person:

  • A time served qualification in one or more of the following disciplines - MEP ( Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and/or 3 years previous experience in MEP, in relation to building services and utilities in a large public building.
  • Previous experience and knowledge in the following key areas including associated statutory requirements:- - - - - - CHP (Combined Heat and Power) Large cooling installations and systems BMS Building Critical SupportSkills and Abilities
