Junior AWS DevOps Engineer

VANRATH are once again working with a global Cyber Security company who are looking for a Junior DevOps engineer to join their team. The company have built a great reputation in Belfast for both a culture and interesting work and it is a great opportunity for a junior AWS engineer to take the next step into the DevOps world.

Key Duties & Responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer

o Work with the core engineering team to build solutions on AWS.

o Implement infrastructure as code for various cloud platforms, from planned architectures.

o Implement monitoring and logging solutions for different technology stacks or container orchestration platforms.

o Research opportunities for improvement to existing infrastructure.

The Ideal Person:

o Scripting experience in Python, or similar.

o Linux experience

o Some experience with AWS

o Knowledge of configuration management tools

Remuneration

Salary for the role is flexible depending on levels of experience but would be between 35-50k for the right candidate along with great benefits and a relaxed office culture.
