About the Role
We are recruiting Joiners on behalf of a public sector client to support planned and reactive maintenance works across a range of occupied properties and public buildings. This role contributes to the upkeep, safety, and usability of essential community facilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out a wide range of joinery works including repairs, replacements, and installations
Work on doors, frames, windows, flooring, kitchens, and general carpentry tasks
Undertake both responsive maintenance and planned works
Ensure work is completed to a high standard and in line with relevant regulations
Liaise professionally with supervisors, colleagues, and building users
Maintain a safe working environment and comply with health & safety procedures
Accurately complete job sheets and report follow-on works where identified
Candidate Requirements
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry/Joinery or proven time-served experience
Experience working in occupied buildings or public sector environments desirable
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Full UK driving licence preferred
