Salary: £35,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum 2:1 classification.
  • Extensive experience (more than [X] years) in designing and developing distributed software solutions using Java (Spring/Spring Boot, Microservice architectures, REST) or .NET (Experience with Dynamics CRM would be a plus).
  • Proficiency in working with Cloud solutions (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and Containers (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of databases including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
  • Excellent object-oriented programming (OOP) skills, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) processes, GIT version control, Jira, and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with working in an agile environment and a proactive advocate for best practices.

  • Utilize your expertise in Java or .NET to architect scalable and efficient microservice-based systems.
  • Integrate seamlessly with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) to enhance product performance.
  • Demonstrate your exceptional troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical challenges, ensuring smooth system operation.
  • Apply your in-depth database knowledge to manage data storage and retrieval processes using various database systems.
  • Create and maintain high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code, reflecting your strong object-oriented programming skills.
  • Contribute to the establishment of CICD pipelines, version control, and issue tracking systems to ensure efficient software development workflows.
