VANRATH are excited to be partnering with a high profile US FDI recently set up in Belfast.

They are a well established investment firm operating in the US for over 20 years and recently made Belfast their new centre of excellence.

This is an excellent time to join the company as they build out their senior engineering team.

Training and progression opportunities will be huge and you will be given the autonomy to take ownership and deliver real value. The work in these roles is 100% greenfield using the latest technologies with full creative freedom.

They are keen on to hire multiple Senior and Principal Java Developers to the team.

The role

They are building bespoke clearing platforms as a solution to companies who are using bulky and decade old platforms from other providers.

These are being offered to a wide variety of clients which makes the work in Belfast very varied. All Greenfield and bespoke to each client.

You will built solutions in everything from small banks and start-ups to large high value businesses that are very complex. Successful candidates will scale out bespoke platforms to meet individual clients needs. There will be loads of scope for creativity and innovation.

The ideal person:

Solid depth in JAVA

Classify yourself as a seasoned Java developer that can solve complex problems.

Ideally over four years of professional experience working as a part of a multi-person development team, doing code reviews, testing, CI, trunk-based development, and/or other modern software practices.

Quick to learn, adaptive and intuitive when it comes to design, development and architecture.
