Overview
My client is currently looking for an IT Technician to support their end users across the organisation. While this is an IT Technician role, offering general hardware/software support, the core of the role will be focused on Azure - setting up rooms, managing access and times, maintaining modules, assisting with VMs etc. The client is also modernising their infrastructure, moving to cloud and improving Cyber, while looking at integration of VR/AI - so plenty of interesting projects to engage with.

Large public sector organisation with teams based across Northern Ireland. There are a lot of exciting IT projects happening here with lots of opportunity to gain exposure to new IT systems, cutting edge tech and some truly meaningful work.
About you
- 1+ years of experience in IT Support providing software/hardware support for a range of devices such as PCs, Laptops, Printers, Scanners, Mobiles etc.
- Driving licence with access to own car and experience of providing onsite face-to-face support.
- IT Degree
- Positive morale and team player
- Adaptable, versatile, problem solver
- Familiarity in using Azure
- Ideally immediately available
What you'll do as an IT Technician
- Mainly focused on using Azure to support end users across the organisation - onsite face to face support to individuals or groups.
- General IT support of organisation's infrastructure, providing onsite software/hardware support across desktops, laptops, mobiles, scanners, printers etc.
- Support rollout of new hardware and systems.
- Maintain high level of professional customer service.
- Work at fast pace to deliver excellent IT service.
- Occasionally travel to various sites.
