IT Technical Business Analyst- Utilities firm (Hybrid 52K)

Job Description

My client a well renowned utilities company is seeking an IT Technical Business Analyst to assist the company's growth in 2023.

You'll be a part of a great brand that will secure significant funding for more than 100 projects with a focus on digital transformation. These initiatives will endure for at least five years, offering a risk-free chance to go into a profession that thrives in hard economic times.

You must have past experience working as a Technical BA to help them with their tech initiatives, which will make up a significant portion of your job.

Essential criteria:

  • A Third Level qualification in an IT related subject / or proven relevant experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience working in a challenging project and / or support environment.
  • Clear evidence of analysis and design activities undertaken in a project and / or support environment.
  • Proven ability / previous experience in liaising with business end users across a large organisation
  • Experience in supporting the translation of business requirements into system requirements
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail / accuracy.
  • Technical knowledge of a range of software development technologies, application development languages, database environments & business systems.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of working in an agile environment
  • Experience of ERP systems
  • Basic knowledge of SQL Server/Oracle
  • Experience of working with automated testing tools
  • Previous experience within a Utility / Engineering environment
