Location: Belfast
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Job Type: Contract

We are currently building a network of experienced IT Support Technicians for upcoming contract opportunities across Northern Ireland.

The Role - IT Support Technician

As an IT Support Technician, you will provide both hardware and software support in dynamic business environments. You must be comfortable delivering high-quality technical support both face-to-face and remotely.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to end users

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals)

  • Troubleshoot software and operating system issues, particularly Microsoft Windows

  • Manage user accounts and permissions via Active Directory

  • Log and manage tickets using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow

  • Utilise diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical faults

  • Configure, deploy, and support end-user devices

  • Deliver excellent customer service in both onsite and remote support settings


Essential Experience

  • Proven experience working as an IT Support Technician

  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills

  • Experience supporting Windows environments

  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems

  • Experience using diagnostic and remote support tools

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
