IT Support Technician

Job Description

VANRATH are pleased to be working with an established client, based in Belfast city centre on their search for an IT support technician to join their team. The role focuses on providing service desk support, hardware maintenance, software roll-out and support end user devices.

Hours: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week. Core hours are flexible between 8am - 6pm.

The Role

  • Providing IT support via telephone, email & in person.
  • Dealing with service desk escalations.
  • Hardware maintenance: PC. laptops, monitors, etc.
  • Providing information security guidance (such as email security & technical auditing).

The Ideal Person

  • 3+ years experience in an IT support role.
  • 1st - 3rd line support experience
  • Good understanding of networking principles
  • Microsoft 365 suite experience
  • Basic understanding of SQL
