Overview
As an IT Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, day-to-day operation of the organisation's technology systems. These systems are critical to maintaining efficient communication, real-time coordination, and overall operational effectiveness across all areas of the business.
You will be responsible for the support, administration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software, both on-site and across connected assets. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, managing user support requests, and ensuring systems remain secure, up-to-date, and fully functional. The role offers hands-on experience across a broad range of IT functions, giving you the opportunity to develop practical skills while contributing to the reliability and performance of the organisation's technology infrastructure.
About you
IT Degree
Strong experience in an IT support or systems administration environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and strong ability to offer face to face and remote support
What you'll do as an IT Support Officer
Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support across multiple sites
Manage support tickets and assist with Helpdesk reporting
Install and troubleshoot hardware, software, and mobile devices
Support internal systems and business applications
Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policies
Manage Office 365, including Co-Pilot and Entra
Set up new users and maintain device configurations
