Overview

We are looking for an IT Support Officer for a public sector organisation to provide 1st line / 2nd line support on their service desk. You'll be assisting with the general day to day maintenance of the IT Services across the organisation and resolving issues where they arise, in addition to installation of new services.

About you

  • Strong IT Support experience with wide knowledge of hardware/software
  • Willing to take on new challenges and adaptable
  • Strong experience of troubleshooting
  • Positive team player and strong communicator
  • IT Degree or HND

What you'll do as an IT Support Officer

  • Providing onsite hardware/software support
  • Management of Active Directory and SharePoint
  • First point of contact for IT related issues
  • Help and assist with setup/configuration of Windows, Networks, Printers etc.
  • Accurate recording and reporting of IT issues and escalate where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with various professionals throughout the organisation, to ensure maintenance and delivery of IT services.
