We are looking for an IT Support Officer for one of our public sector clients in Belfast. You'll support a wide range of IT Systems (maintenance/troubleshooting/installation/configuration etc). You'll provide hardware/software support to professionals within the organisation, across Microsoft/Windows systems, laptops, PCs, printers, mobiles as well as supporting the network including setup/configuration of hubs/routers etc. This will primarily be on-site at the Belfast office, but may require travel to other sites across NI from time to time.

Essential Criteria

  • IT Degree / HND.
  • 1+ years of IT Support experience in a large organisation across hardware/software/printers/networks/routers etc
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft application software and windows operating systems.
  • Excellent communicator
  • Positive outlook and a team player
  • Driving licence and access to own car.

What you'll do as an IT Support Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • General IT Support of organisations IT Infrastructure.
  • Installation and support of hardware/software including PCs, laptops, printers, routers, Microsoft applications etc.
  • Support the team with various duties to meet department goals.
  • Travel to other sites, when needed.
