Overview

We are looking for an IT Support Lead for a public sector organisation to lead a team of IT Support Officers. It's a small team so will involve a mix of hands on support, with oversight of the IT Support team, procedures, ticketing queues, and providing leadership.

VANRATH are partnering with a public sector organisation responsible for delivering fair and accessible education to all. This vacancy is within the IT Support team in Omagh, responsible for maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure across the organisation.

About you

  • Third level qualification in IT or similar
  • Strong history of IT Support
  • Experience of leading / guiding / mentoring
  • Strong experience of a wide range of IT Systems offering 1st/2nd line support to a range of IT services including different operating systems, printers, networks, user profiles, system access, servers etc.
  • Positive team player and strong communicator

  • Collaborate and take the lead on introduction of new systems where necessary
  • Uphold and maintain strong standards of Excellent IT Support / customer service
