Overview
Our client, a small private sector company providing IT services to the public sector, is seeking an IT Service Desk Advisor to support the delivery of high-quality technical support within their Service Desk team.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for users, providing hands-on assistance and troubleshooting for a wide range of Windows-based hardware and software systems. You'll support and maintain end-user devices, manage incidents, and assist with installations, upgrades, and configuration management using Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and delivering professional, customer-focused IT support in a busy, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide face-to-face and remote IT support to end users across public sector clients.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows devices.
Support and manage endpoints via Intune and SCCM, including imaging, patching, and deployment.
Assist with configuration, installation, and upgrading of Microsoft 365 applications.
Log, track, and escalate incidents in line with SLAs.
Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience in IT support or Service Desk role.
Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
Experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM for device and application management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
