IT Deployment Analyst

Job Description

VANRATH are hiring an IT Deployment Analyst for a large public sector health organisation to assist in the delivery of an efficient, customer focused deployment service for desktop equipment and printers.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day co-ordination of deployment field engineers (Desktop Supply Contract) including:
    • Backlog monitoring
    • Ensuring field engineers are maintaining departmental records in line with Trust protocols/procedures
    • Providing training/guidance to new field engineers on agreed Trust procedures and protocols
    • Initial point of contact for field engineers relating to service delivery queries or issues, resolving or referring to internal personnel/escalating as appropriate
    • Work scheduling
  • Liaise with 3rd party contractor personnel regarding queries or installation issues.
  • Liaise with IT technical staff regarding matter such as device builds, software installs, imaging, allocation of printer configurations and queues.
  • Liaise with IT Procurement & Contracts personnel regarding matters such as ordering, receipting or contractual matters.
  • Initial point of contact for user enquiries relating to Desktop and Printer equipment requests.
  • Refer or escalate service delivery or performance issues to the relevant authority in line with agreed protocols
  • Monitoring of deployment backlogs, ensuring timely escalation of risks or issues in line with agreed protocols/procedures


The Ideal Person

  • Four GCSE's at Grade C or above to include English Language or equivalent qualification and at least one year's relevant IT or Business Admin experience.

OR

  • A minimum of 2 years IT or Business Admin experience and GCSE grade C or above in English Language or equivalent qualification

AND

  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products (or equivalent) including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use or a range of IT Systems and software Packages

Working Hours, Salary and Benefits

  • Temporary contract (3-6 months with extension opportunities)
  • 37.5 Hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Band 3 Salary (£20,330 - £21,777 annually / £10.40 p/h)
  • Holiday pay + pension + benefits
