IT Business Analyst - 500PD - Contract-Outside IR35 - Hybrid

VANRATH are recruiting a Business Analyst for a large IT focused organisation. This assignment is supporting on a major project that involves, establishing requirements across the organisation for core system implementation projects. Reporting into the Senior Manager, this is a full time post 36 hours per week, this role suited to an experienced Business Analyst looking for an ideal opportunity to enter Northern Ireland's Private sector

Project:

A Senior IT Technical Business Analyst is needed to join the expanding team of a International Tech Business. You will be a part of fantastic brand that will gather huge funding for over 100+ projects with an emphasis on digital transformation.

To support them with their tech projects, which will be a major component of your employment, you should have prior experience working as a Technical BA.. The focus for this role is working with the provider and an internal People and Culture team to ensure the system remains stable and operating as intended. There is also likely to be a server migration which this role will be key in designing the testing strategy and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Be main contact for vendor in terms of technical aspects of the system.
  • Training on the changes for users (specific way to use the system).
  • Understanding the key processes/sequences, occasional production of analytics, testing of changes, upgrades, etc. and co-ordination of technical and related tasks that are required to be undertaken.
  • Each month is a new group, need to establish who comes onto the new system, who needs to register and make sure deadlines are met.
  • Establishing who is being paid, how to upload CV's/profiles, line managers setting up assignment, time sheets etc.
  • Liaising with teams (IS, Finance, Payroll) regarding integration data feeds.

Ideal Person:

  • Minimum of five years' experience as an IT Business Analyst
  • Strong understanding of the project management methodologies, preferably Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience with ERP or HCM systems system implementation
  • Expert consultant with experience in business/data analytics and requirements elicitation
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of SDLC
  • Strong SQL skills to run ad-hoc analysis and define scenarios
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills

Remuneration:

£500 Per day, £120k equivalent
