This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in our clients exciting growth story as they continue to build the next generation of capabilities in the payment processing space. With a team of around 80 already on board in Northern Ireland our client have plans to add another 6 Java Developer to the team asap.


What kind of work would you be doing?

During your placement at you will have the opportunity to work on both the FAS Data Discovery and UX Aspects teams providing you the opportunity to experience front-end, back-end and web component framework development.

You will get to work with Java & JavaScript but being a complex project there will be times when you may come across areas implemented in different programming languages as well.
You will get the chance to:

  • Contribute to the full development lifecycle - design, develop, test, deploy and maintain code
  • Work and collaborate with local and remote multi-geo R&D and non-R&D teams
  • Work according to high execution standards, while adhering to security standards, project goals and ensuring high quality
  • Work with our customers on resolving their technical issues
  • Suggest and implement improvements on the product


What do we expect?

  • Someone eager to learn and expand their knowledge
  • Good understanding of object-oriented and functional programming principles
  • Knowledge with Java and JavaScript/TypeScript would be a plus
  • Technological orientation - ability to learn, analyze and troubleshoot various technologies

Remuneration:

  • Salary up to £55k + bonus (flexible for the right candidate)
