VANRATH are pleased to be working with an industry leading business based in the Dungannon area, in their search for an Interim Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will join a successful business unit and will assume responsibility for managing the finance team across AP/AR/CASH, alongside ensuring the timely completion of the monthly management accounts packs. This role is initially set out for a period of 6 months, with the view to extension depending on performance and business levels.

To be considered for this role, it is essential to be a Qualified Accountant, with extensive post qualified experience, ideally with a manufacturing/engineering background. Given the interim nature of the role, candidates available on a shortened notice period are at a distinct advantage.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with experience of a senior leadership role
• Strong commercial acumen
• Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Available at short notice

What you'll do

• Oversee and review the work of the finance team
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, presenting to senior board members
• Coordination of quarterly reports
• Coordination of audit
• Weekly and monthly cashflow forecasting/management
