VANRATH are pleased to be again working with one of the household names in NI who are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join the team. The company currently have around 1,200 employees in NI who help provide one of the most important services in the market. The company outsource someone of the IT and telecoms to 3rd party managed services companies but also possess a large scale internal IT team to look after the vision and architecture of the future of the company.
Reporting to the IT Enterprise Architect, and working alongside the existing Applications, Network/Telecoms and Cyber Security Architects, the successful candidate will play a key role in the management and governance of the current IT infrastructure and its future roadmap. The Infrastructure Architect will be required to develop effective relationships with senior stakeholders, business managers and end users to ensure business requirements are fully reflected in IT infrastructure strategy and project delivery. Working closely with our Managed Service Provider, strong technical leadership, cross team collaboration and commercial decision-making capabilities are key.
The ideal candidate must be able to display the following:
A third level qualification.
* A minimum of 4 years relevant IT infrastructure experience across a range of key infrastructure
o Highly Available, Virtualised Compute and Storage Hosting platforms
o Application Delivery and Presentation solutions
o End User Device Management (desktop/notebook & mobile)
o Backup and Disaster Recovery
o Remote/Privileged Access Solutions
* Previous experience in liaising with business end users across a large organisation
* Cloud Design would be desirable along with managing outsources IT services and any previous PM experience
The salary for this role is negotiable depending on the level of experience but around the 57-63k mark. This would also come with a 10% bonus and an 8% matched pension.
