About you

  • Qualified Solicitor with a solid background in immigration law or relevant departments
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Strong research skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and able to exercise sound judgment under pressure
  • Proficient in legal case management software and document drafting

What you'll do

  • Manage your own caseload related to immigration litigation, including applications, appeals, judicial reviews, and court representation
  • Prepare thoroughly for hearings, draft legal documents, and instruct barristers and experts as required
  • Liaise promptly and professionally with clients and other legal professionals, ensuring seamless coordination
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analyse case law to support advice and case strategy
  • Review files, prepare briefs to counsel, and maintain accurate case management records
  • Draft legal correspondence, applications, and administrative reviews, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Interview clients and witnesses, gather evidence, and organise case documents
  • Support trial preparations, including exhibits, notes, and transcripts
  • Engage proactively in client development and networking to promote the practice and generate new opportunities
  • Provide regular updates on case progress to senior management and contribute to team objectives
