Overview
We are seeking an ICT Support Officer to join our Health Service ICT team, supporting the delivery of reliable and secure technology services across our healthcare sites.
In this role, you'll act as a first point of contact for staff, providing timely and effective technical support for a wide range of clinical and corporate IT systems. You will assist with the maintenance and deployment of end-user devices, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and support configuration and updates through tools such as Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and contributing to high-quality patient care by ensuring our ICT services run smoothly and securely.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support to healthcare staff, both remotely and on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical services.
Diagnose and resolve issues with Windows-based hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Support the management and deployment of end-user devices using Microsoft Intune and SCCM, including imaging, patching, and application deployment.
Assist with configuration, installation, and upgrades of Microsoft 365 and other approved systems.
Log and monitor service requests and incidents in line with ITIL-based processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Ensure all work adheres to data protection, information governance, and cybersecurity policies.
Maintain a professional, service-focused approach when interacting with staff at all levels.
Requirements
Proven experience in an ICT Support or Service Desk environment, preferably within the public or healthcare sector.
Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
Experience using Microsoft Intune and SCCM for endpoint and application management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
Ability to prioritise and work effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.
