VANRATH is proud to be partnering with a well-established company in the search for an experienced HSE Officer / Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation with a strong commitment to workplace safety and employee well being.

The role is based in Carrickfergus and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule.

Core Duties:

  • Collaborate with the HSE Manager to support the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of health, safety, and environmental programs and processes.

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of HSE certification audits.

  • Deliver HSE guidance and support across the organization.

  • Take a lead role in the risk assessment program.

Essential Criteria:

    • Possession of a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a HSE Officer role.

    • Demonstrates a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong general IT skills.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in reporting.

    • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
