A well-established supply chain and recycling organisation in Antrim is seeking an experienced HSE Lead to take ownership of health, safety, and environmental performance across its busy operational site. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring compliance, driving best practices, and fostering a strong safety-first culture.

Role Overview:
As HSE Lead, you'll be the primary point of contact for all health, safety, and environmental matters on site. Working closely with operational and senior management, your focus will be on maintaining accredited systems, reducing risk, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead HSEQ strategy and delivery, aligning with corporate goals and industry standards
Maintain and develop management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, BES 6001)
Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all departments
Manage and investigate incidents, root causes, and corrective actions
Deliver internal HSE training, briefings, and toolbox talks
Monitor contractor compliance and site-wide safety performance
Stay up to date with relevant HSE legislation and implement required changes
Collaborate with leadership on sustainability and environmental initiatives
Required Experience:
NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
Strong background in HSE within manufacturing, logistics, or recycling
Experience with ISO management systems and HSEQ audits
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and influence teams at all levels
IOSH membership or equivalent professional affiliation desirable
