Are you a Project Manager aspiring to work on major health related projects in NI?

VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting a BAND 7 Project Manager for HSCNI. This is a full time role with real scope for assignment extension. This should be seen as an excellent way to gain experience, if you have aspirations to get into HSCNI on a permanent basis, or want to work (genuinely) meaningful projects e.g. mobile/ipad/laptop rollout on Encompass, integrating helpdesk and also a cardiology system.

Remuneration:

£43,742 (BAND 7) + Holiday Pay & Pension.

The Ideal Person

  • Prince 2 Practitioner
  • 2 years' experience of development and implementation of significant business/service systems and processes.
  • Experience of Writing Business Cases
  • University Degree or recognised Professional qualification

Responsibilities

  • Planning, executing and ensuring implementation of projects in to meet challenging deadlines within budget.
  • Identifying and effectively communicating resource requirements, work packages and coordinating efforts of the project team and any third party contractors / vendors in order to deliver projects according to plan.
  • Define and communicate project scope, goals and deliverables that support the business goals of the project.
  • Complete associated documentation including project brief, project mandate, project initiation document, highlight and exception reports, risk assessments & log etc
  • Develop work packages and project plans for each project, clearly documenting these and communicating and agreeing these with Work Package leads
