VANRATH is partnering with a global technology organisation, with the appointment of a HR Systems & operations Manager.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Global HR Operations, the Manager will play a key role in driving productivity efficiency's and effectiveness across all HR processes, policies, and operations regionally to support the broader HR Division and Organisation .

The HR Operations team is global in nature with team members across the US, UK and India who provide end-to-end employee life-cycle HR administration support and are the first point of contact and tier one support for all HR Systems, Policy, Process and workforce queries to over 5,000 workers across 20 countries

This role will provide operational expertise and project delivery as well as day to day management and leadership to the HR Operations team members based in the UK and India.

The primary function of the Manager, HR Operations is to provide operational expertise and management to the HR Operations team ensuring a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance and execution on data processing that impacts Payroll and other systems.
  • Ensures the team maintains momentum and a sense of urgency toward desired results. Continually focuses on driving high standards of performance, correcting performance and skill gaps, and works to overcome obstacles and meet or exceed challenging goals.
  • Manages and executes on inquiries for audit purposes, including requests from regulatory groups, government agencies, internal/external auditors and others. Serves as HR system subject matter expert and participates in enhancements, upgrades and system testing efforts.
  • Manages the day-to-day activities and leads the development of the HR Operations team. These activities include HR data maintenance, reporting and candidate management, as well as first-tier system support and responding to other customer inquiries.
  • Ensures high standards in data entry by reviewing, approving and auditing transactions.
  • Partners with the HR Technology team to ensure that systems are optimised to support our global HR processes.
  • Recommends HR process redesign to improve service delivery and/or operational efficiency's leveraging existing and new technologies.
  • Works closely with the US based HR Ops Manager role along with the Director of HR Operations to help drive the implementation and continuous improvement of scalable and global HR processes.
  • Regularly communicates employee concerns, trends, recurring issues, service opportunities, team performance metrics, and related issues to management. Presents and follows through on actionable recommendations.
  • Works with the global team to identify, prioritise, communicate and track escalated issues through resolution in a timely manner while considering critically, impact and resource availability. Personally resolves and fulfils complex inquiries, requests and issues and corrects errors as necessary.

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent desired
  • CIPD Qualified is desired not essential
  • Demonstrable 3+ years experience in a Manager or Lead role within HR Operations/ Systems / HR Shared Service function or similar environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving, conflict resolution, networking, continuous improvement, and technical aptitude skills is required
  • A background in financial or professional services is ideal
  • HCM / Workday Experience is essential
