A well-known public sector organisation based in the Lisburn area who offer a range of services to the local community.
They require a Learning & Development/HR specialist with particular emphasis on Organisational Development to join their team on an interim basis, initially for 6 months with possibility for extension.
About you
- A third level qualification (for example, an HNC, HND, NVQ Level 4, Degree) or equivalent
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development
- A minimum of threeyears' management experience of:
- Delivery of successful OD projects and supporting organisational change, influencing, building and sustaining relationships in order to achieve results
- Training / Learning & Development to include line management responsibility
- Effective planning and project management skills
- Providing advice and guidance to line managers on Generalist Human Resource issues
- A working knowledge of computerised Human Resource Information Systems
What you'll do
- Provide advice and guidance on all relevant employment legislation and national, regional and local conditions of service
- Liaise and communicate with the Trade Union Representative on HR & OD issues, as required
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures and operate within the highest standards on management and personal behaviour, which reflect the core values and behaviours of the organisation
- Develop and enhance working relationships with relevant partners and stakeholders to maximise corporate and community planning outcomes and to generate innovation in service delivery
- Contribute to relevant policy work
