About the Role
VANRATH is partnering with an ambitious, expanding organisation to appoint an experienced HR Officer who will play a pivotal role in shaping Employee Relations and leading recruitment initiatives. This is a hands-on position for a confident HR professional with a proven record in managing sensitive workplace matters and delivering full recruitment lifecycle support. The ideal candidate will combine practical expertise, sound judgement, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.

What You Will Do

  • Provide trusted advice and guidance to managers and employees on Employee Relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary issues, and workplace investigations.
  • Lead or support Employee Relations cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and organisational policy while maintaining fairness and confidentiality.
  • Take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle: drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and deliver timely, effective hiring solutions.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and report on recruitment metrics and Employee Relations activity.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance engagement, culture, and organisational performance.
  • Stay up to date with employment legislation and HR best practices, with a preference for knowledge of Republic of Ireland employment law.

What You Need

  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation and practical HR policies; ROI employment law experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience managing disciplinary and grievance processes, including investigations and case resolution.
  • Proven success in managing recruitment campaigns, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above) or equivalent HR experience is preferred.
