Job Title: HR Officer
Location: North Belfast
Salary: 30-35k
Contract: Full Time / Permanent / On Site

VANRATH are partnering with our valued client that has sites all over Ireland and the UK in the search for a HR Officer to join their HR function.

You will work closely with Senior Management across a large, multi-site workforce. This role encompasses the full HR remit, with particular emphasis on handling employee relations cases which is a key part of the role.


You will be responsible for:

  • Advising and supporting Managers in dealing with employee relations issues (investigations, disciplinary, grievance, capability, flexible working, attendance management, and health and well-being issues)
  • Ensuring contracts and right to work checks are completed following Company policies and procedures
  • Managing long term sickness cases across divisions
  • Managing the full end to end recruitment process for various positions as required in order to attract the best talent
  • Providing HR support to business unit management teams on HR policies and procedures


About you:

  • CIPD Level 5 / HR Degree
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR role
  • Experience of providing professional HR advice and guidance on Employee Relations matters.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of employment law and best practice HR.
