Summary
VANRATH are proudly supporting another valued client in Monaghan, who are seeking a proactive HR professional to provide generalist HR support across employee relations, recruitment, HR operations, and compliance.

What you need

  • CIPD qualified at Level 5 or above.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice, with exosure to ER cases.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in the use of HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

What you will do each day

  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation, ensuring clear guidance and consistent application across the organisation.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, including job advertising, shortlisting, interviews, offers, contracts, and induction activities.
  • Handle employee relations issues such as performance concerns, disciplinary matters, grievances, and absence management, supporting investigations and formal processes as required.
  • Maintain and update HR records and systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
  • Assist with payroll, benefits administration, and the preparation of HR reports and management information.
  • Support training sessions and development programmes.
  • Contribute to general HR administration, policy development, HR audits, and process improvements to support smooth day-to-day operations.
