VANRATH are partnering with a leading manufacturer, with the appointment of a HRBP role, to support a pending maternity cover, running to Sep 2025.

The company in question is a multi-site, all Ireland business, with a growing HR function and employee base.

The Role

To assist and support in the provision of a confidential, effective and professional HR Service.

To support the development and implementation of departmental and Company HR initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the effective day-to-day operations of the Human Resources team and support HR project work and initiatives as required.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and review of Human Resources policies, systems and procedures in line with legislative changes and best practice
  • Work in partnership with the HR team to identify opportunities and areas of improvement in line with business needs
  • Manage the full recruitment process from start to finish
  • Support managers in interviewing roles at all levels, including short-listing CVs, advising on appropriate questions and/or tests for interviews and participating in interview panels
  • Advise and support line managers on Employee Relations issues to include disciplinary and absence management as requested by the HRBP
  • Support managers in the performance management process and provide guidance in line with policies and procedures.

The Person

  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Desired)
  • A minimum of 3 year's HR Generalist experience
  • A strong working knowledge of employment legislation and best practice in Ireland
  • Experience of working within a fast paced and diverse working environment.
  • Experience of working in Manufacturing industry is advantageous
