£21.98 per hour | Full-Time | Temporary Contract

Are you a confident HR professional with strong expertise in employee relations and policy development? We're working with a well-known public sector body to recruit an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to deliver high-impact HR solutions across a diverse and mission-driven organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead advisory role, supporting senior management and influencing business outcomes in a highly respected public sector body.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior managers across departments to deliver proactive, solutions-focused HR advice

  • Lead complex employee relations casework (grievance, discipline, dignity at work, attendance)

  • Support organisational change, workforce planning, and well-being initiatives

  • Develop and implement HR policies and contribute to HR project delivery

  • Collaborate with Trade Unions and act as HR rep at hearings, investigations, and tribunals

  • Produce reports, identify trends, and recommend HR interventions

  • Support resourcing and learning activities aligned to business goals

  • Represent the HR Manager/Senior HRBP and ensure service resilience across the team


Essential Criteria:

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (e.g. Postgraduate Diploma in HRM)

  • Associate CIPD membership (or commitment to achieving this within 12 months)

  • 3+ years' experience delivering HR advice on complex employee relations issues to senior management

  • Significant expertise in at least four of the following areas:

  • Attendance Management

  • Grievance/Dignity at Work

  • Disciplinary Cases

  • HR Policy Development

  • HR Project Delivery

  • Strong working knowledge of employment law

  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills

  • Valid driving licence or access to suitable transport for NI-wide travel

    Desirable:

    • Chartered CIPD Member (MCIPD)

    • Experience with mediation or dispute resolution

    • Background in local government or public sector HR

    • Experience working with trade unions
