VANRATH are partnering with a local charitable organisation to source a HR Business Partner to join their team at their Belfast Offices with a hybrid working option (3 days at home and 2 in the office per week).
This role will initially be on a 6 month fixed term basis but there is opportunity for the role to be extended.
About you


  • Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Human Resources or business-related discipline, or a recognised professional Human Resources qualification at a minimum of level 5


AND


  • 3 years' generalist HR experience.


OR


  • 5 years' generalist HR experience.

  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable as the role will involve working at various locations throughout Ireland.

  • A full current driving licence and access to a car. Business insurance will be a requirement for this post.

  • Demonstrable experience of providing advice and guidance on HR policies and processes.

  • Demonstrable experience in the management of complex disciplinary and grievance cases which is compliant with current NI/ROI Employment Legislation and Codes of Practices.

  • Proven experience of developing strong consultative relationships with key stakeholders on HR strategies.



What you'll do


  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on all complex HR issues and coach, support, train and challenge managers in the application of HR policies and practices, taking into account current legislation and relevant codes of practice.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of the People, Development and Compliance strategy in support of the organisation's business strategy.

  • Manage and maintain HR information systems and develop standard documentation for all employees of the organisation in relation to using the self-service HR Information System, securing user adoption and generating cost savings.

  • Analyse the trends in KPI data ensuring that appropriate and proportionate corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner. 5. Oversee and support with the preparation of statutory reports in a timely and accurate manner e.g. Article 55

  • Contribute to the development of the People, Development and Compliance operational plan ensuring it is in line with the organisation's strategic aims.

  • Lead on departmental strategic projects in line with the operational plan.
