An exciting opportunity has opened up for a HR Business Partner to join a close-knit HR team in Newtownabbey. Our client in the Manufacturing industry requires an experienced HR Generalist with a passion for promoting positive Employee Relations to join their team.

Our client is a well-established engineering & manufacturing company who have been operating over 25+ years and specialise in waste recycling and utilising natural resources.


The Ideal Person

  • 3+ years generalist HR experience
  • CIPD Level 5 or above
  • Demonstratable experience providing advice and guidance on HR policies and processes.
  • Experience working in the HR function in the following industries; manufacturing, retail or hospitality (not essential but desired).



Responsibilities
As the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for the following areas:

  • HR policy management
  • Improving employee relations practices
  • Maintaining high employee engagement
  • Ensuring effective buy-in during the onboarding process
  • Managing employee performance management cycle, including probations and performance improvement plans
