HR Advisor (Resourcing)


Temporary Contract - 3 Months

The Human Resources team plays a vital role in supporting the organisation's mission by attracting, developing, and retaining a skilled and motivated workforce. With a strong focus on employee resourcing, the team ensures the organisation continues to deliver high-quality public housing and related services. They are also committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion through robust HR policies and best practice.

About You


You will be a confident and knowledgeable HR professional with proven experience in employee resourcing. You will meet one of the following criteria:


  • Degree-level qualification (Level 6*) in Human Resource Management and at least 1 year's experience in an HR role with resourcing responsibilities
    OR

  • Level 5 CIPD and at least 2 years' experience in an HR role with resourcing responsibilities


In addition, you will have:


  • Current professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) at Associate Member (Assoc CIPD) level or above

  • Demonstrable experience in at least three of the following areas:

    • Providing professional HR advice to managers on employee resourcing matters

    • Delivering end-to-end recruitment and selection processes

    • Implementing resourcing policies and procedures effectively

    • Producing HR statistics and reports to support management decision-making

The Role


As HR Advisor (Resourcing), you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's recruitment and workforce planning activity. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Ensuring all resourcing activity complies with the organisation's Resourcing Policy, relevant legislation, and HR best practice

  • Supporting the delivery of the workforce plan in a timely and effective manner

  • Preparing and publishing recruitment advertisements

  • Managing clear and timely communication with candidates and selection panels throughout the recruitment process

  • Issuing contracts of employment within required legal timeframes

  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including HR colleagues, Finance, and IT, to ensure a joined-up service
