Role: HR Advisor

VANRATH is partnering with a returning client to recruit an experienced HR Advisor. This role offers the chance to provide expert HR support, including employee relations, recruitment, and compliance oversight, within a professional and values-driven workplace dedicated to high-quality care.

About you
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it
- Proven HR advisory experience, ideally within care or social sector settings
- Strong knowledge of Northern Ireland employment law
- Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively
What you'll do
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management, ensuring fair and consistent practice.
- Lead investigations, hearings, and appeals with professionalism, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
- Oversee processes for work authorisations and sponsorship compliance, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
- Conduct regular audits of employee records to maintain compliance with data protection and organisational policies.
- Provide guidance to managers on employment law and work authorisation requirements.
- Prepare for and support regulatory inspections and audits, ensuring processes and documentation are thorough and compliant.
- Support recruitment and onboarding for all staff, ensuring smooth, compliant, and welcoming induction processes.
- Contribute to HR policy development and deliver informal guidance or training on HR procedures and legal obligations.
