Role: HR Advisor - 12 month FTC - Belfast

Job Overview
VANRATH is pleased to partner with a returning client to appoint an HR Advisor. This role provides expert HR support across the employee lifecycle, focusing on employee relations, policy compliance, and people development.

What you'll do:

  • Provide proactive, practical HR guidance to managers and employees, including expert support on employee relations matters.
  • Lead investigations and manage disciplinary and grievance processes through to conclusion.
  • Equip managers to handle attendance and performance matters with confidence.
  • Partner with managers on full-cycle recruitment and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Deliver effective induction sessions for new employees and managers.
  • Contribute to HR and business projects that enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with NI and ROI legislation.
  • Produce accurate payroll information and develop timely, data-led insights for decision-making and reporting.

What you'll need:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in a generalist HR advisory role covering the full employee lifecycle.
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex employee relations issues with sound judgement and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic organisation.
  • A third-level qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical understanding of Northern Ireland employment legislation.
