VANRATH is delighted to support a hughely successful business in Belfast, in the recruitment of an HR Advisor. This hands-on role will provide practical HR support across all regions, managing the full employee lifecycle and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, and grievance issues.
  • Support the investigation and resolution of workplace conflicts, disciplinary actions, and complaints in line with company policy and employment legislation.
  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies to promote a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Analyse trends in employee relations cases and recommend proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and management to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, documentation, and correspondence relating to employee relations cases.
  • Deliver training and workshops to managers and employees on employment law, company policies, and best practices.
  • Keep abreast of employment legislation, case law, and industry trends to ensure compliance and advise on policy updates.

Essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in employee relations, HR advisory, or a related role, with knowledge of employment law and best practice.
  • Proven ability to handle disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases, including investigations and report preparation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to advise and influence managers and employees effectively.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion, analyse trends, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
