About the Opportunity:
VANRATH is partnering with a public sector organisation in Lisburn to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional to make an immediate impact by providing expert employee relations support and generalist HR guidance across a busy organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice and support on employee relations matters including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, grievances, and performance management.
Ensure adherence to employment legislation and internal policies, guiding managers on best practices.
Support and conduct investigations related to employee complaints, misconduct, and workplace issues, ensuring accurate documentation and fair outcomes.
Deliver training and coaching to managers on ER topics such as respectful workplace behaviour, conflict resolution, and policy adherence.
Collaborate with the wider HR team to enhance employee engagement, culture, and retention strategies.
Essential Criteria:
CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR advisory or generalist role, with a strong focus on employee relations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Proficient in HR systems and familiar with core HR processes.
