Job Title: HR Advisor
Location: Belfast (Multi-Site role)
Duration: Full Time / 12 Month FTC / Hybrid
Salary: 40-55k
VANRATH are delighted to be working with our client in the Private sector as they search for a HR Advisor to join their growing People & Culture function.
You will play a key role in the team and will be expected to perform HR advisory service. You will also work on both operational & strategic projects to support the delivery of the key HR objectives. You will seek to establish and implement best practice in HR and develop employees to fully meet their potential in this ever changing multi-site business.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Analysing HR data to positively influence business strategy and decisions which support various business improvements and or growth initiatives
- Building effective working relationships with external stakeholders, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practice.
- Ensuring compliance of relevant employment legislation
- Maintaining current knowledge of HR best practises which shall include participating in industry training courses and company approved training courses
- Possessing a sound understanding of the internal development of, monitoring and improvement of the organisation's policies and practices
- Providing HR advice and expertise on a wide range of generalist issues, taking into account the operational impact of any intervention
- Providing HR support to the business in all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment & selection, attendance management, employee relations, recognition & reward, employee engagement payroll and performance management & development
- Liasing with local management on all HR issues and offer sensitive confidential advice and support
About You
- CIPD qualified
- 3+ years experience at HR Generalist level
- Driving license + access to car due to travel across multi-site
- Experience of delivering HR training on policies and procedures
- Experience in an HR role of communicating/liaising with Trade Unions on a range of issues
- Experience of a complex unionised environment involving shift working/flexible working
- Experience of HR Analytics with a focus on gathering and analysing benchmarking data
