HR Administrator

Job Description


VANRATH are partnering with our client, an exceptional public sector body, to find a HR Administrator to join their team.

The role
Full-time 37 hrs p/w | 12 months initially
Mon-Fri | 9am-5pm

Renumeration
£26,017 - £26,575 per annum


The ideal person(s)
5 GCSEs grades A - C (including English Language and Maths) or equivalent

OR

Leaving Certificate (Standard/Ordinary level) - 5 grades A - C (including English Language and Maths) or equivalent.

AND

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience gained in a similar role in a HR function within the public, private, voluntary or community sectors.
  • Experience in administering effective HR processes.
  • Excellent IT Skills, including use of ICT packages.
  • Experience in the use of an HR computer management system e.g. PAMS
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines including completing tasks and projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Previous experience in dealing with issues of confidentiality, data protection & information security awareness.



Desirable experience

  • Experience of management information systems/ online recruitment portals (e.g. PAMS and GetGot).
  • Student CIPD membership or working towards membership.



Responsibilities
The HR Administrator will assist in the provision of a high quality, confidential administrative service to the Human Resources Department.

  • Clerical support to Human Resources Department
  • Data input and word processing
  • Development and maintenance of effective filing systems
  • Assist with Training and Development activities
  • Assist with Recruitment and Selection activities



Additional Information
Full time staff receive 25 days annual leave per annum and 12 Public Holidays (from beginning of contract)
